EXPLORATION TOUR ON THE HINTERTUX GLACIER
Every monday, wednesday & friday from july to september, an experienced glacier guide from the tuxertal ski school takes you on an exciting and eventful exploration tour of the Hintertux Glacier.
At a spectacular 3,250 m you will learn more about the surrounding mountains and enjoy the breathtaking view. You will hike over millennia-old glacier ice, past mighty turquoise ice rifts and learn interesting facts about the formation and structure of our glacier.
PURE CYCLING PLEASURE IN THE ZILLERTAL VALLEY
From beginner or family tours to demanding mountain bike trails - there is something for everyone on our more than 800 km of well maintaines routes of all levels of difficulty.
A leisurely excursion with your family along the Ziller - or would you rather climb a three-thousand-metre peak? 800 km of extended bike and cycle tours leave nothing to be desired.
NORDIC WALKING IN THE IDYLLIC TUX MOUNTAINS!
Sporting "whole body training" on the one hand and the experience of tyrolean natural landscapes on the other hand is possible by "walking with sticks". In order to enjoy the new sport right from the start, an introductory course with a nordic walking trainer is recommended.
The nordicsports active center is located in tux, the high valley at the foot of the Hintertux Glacier. the ideal altitude offers ideal conditions for sports and nature lovers! The idyllic mountain and glacier world (1,300-3,250m) with healthy mountain air offers 80 km of nordic walking routes and 350 km of marked hiking trails in summer.
