FUN ON THE SLOPES WITH SKIS OR SNOWBOARD
Due to the healthy altitude up to 3,250 metres above sea level, snow and white winter landscapes are entirely in the interests of nature. A special attraction is the "Glacier Tour"! With its 72 km of slopes and 15,000 metres of altitude difference, it is a fascinating challenge for a day trip! 227 km of pistes and 59 lifts with a lift capacity of 98,840 p/h offer a new piste experience every day without waiting tmes and guarantee throughout the year, the powder snow guarantee from October to May and the snow-covered downhill runs to Hintertux, Lanersbach and Vorderlanersbach make Tux one of the leading winter sports regions in the Alps.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING & SKATING
The sport facilities in the Tuxertal include 14 km of classic cross-country ski trails leading from Vorderlanersbach to Madseit and 14 km of skating tracks in Juns/Madseit. Please pay attention to the arrow direction of the track!
The cross-country trail is being repaired by the Tux-Finkenberg Tourist Association and can be used free of changes.
OFF-PISTE
Have you tried the many possibilities off-piste? The beautiful winter landscape invites you to discover nature in white - each in its own way - whether on a toboggan ride or a sleigh ride!
All cabins are accessible by taxi.
On the toboggan runs you have to reckon with local traffic. Please note the tobogganing times!
ICE SKATING - ICE STICK SHOOTING
Experience "Fun on Ice" on the large natural ice rinks in Lanersbach! No matter if you dare on fast skates on the ice or rather just watch the children pirouette, fun is guaranteed! Whether small or large - there's something going on for everyone! Thus, traditional curling also ensures fun and varied hours off-piste. 4 curling rinks in Lanersbach offer funny action with "stave&stick" during long-range shooting and target shooting. Have fun - during the day or in the evening - alone, in pairs or in a group!
A little tip: We will take care of the target water!
WINTER HIKING - WINTER HIKING TRAILS
The 68 km of winter hiking trails, some of which have only been rolled down, raked or cleared, provide a change of scenery in winter. The winter hiking trails to the Eggalm, the Penken or the Sommerbergalm are a challenge - as a reward there are rustic huts and the panorama restaurants with Zillertal specialities. Those who prefer a cosy view can take the cable cars to the individual mountain stations. Hiking is movement training. Muscles, tendons and ligaments are strengthened, the circulation gets going. Blood is increasingly pumped through the body.
